Dining at the Hotel Murmuri
Barcelona’s Eixample district abounds with excellent restaurants, and two of them are found at Hotel Murmuri.
ElPassatge del Murmuri is an inviting spot with stylish modern décor and large picture windows that look out onto the pedestrian passageway (passatge) that runs along one side of the hotel. The restaurant also offers al fresco dining at a delightful terrace in the center of the Rambla de Catalunya — a great spot for people-watching and enjoying fine weather.
ElPassatge’s chef uses local and seasonal produce to prepare to prepare traditional Catalan and Mediterranean dishes such as creamy fish rice, steamed mussels with herb butter, and scrambled eggs with Iberic ham.
The trendy Bar ElPassatge serves coffee, cocktails, and tapas in a chic and comfortable setting.
Petit Comité, located a few steps from the hotel, is the creation of Michelin-starred chef Nandu Jubani. At this intimate restaurant, diners can enjoy a wide variety of carefully prepared Catalan dishes, each presented elegantly.
